Step into timeless royalty with this exquisite Sashikal Pashmina Silk Saree. Bathed in a majestic royal hue, this masterpiece showcases a seamless blend of luxurious texture and heritage craftsmanship. The entire body is heavily adorned with multi-colored Kashmiri Meenakari threadwork, creating intricate, glowing floral vine motifs.
The border features a striking, wide traditional Rajwadi zari weave that transitions flawlessly into an opulent, heavy pallu layered with rich paisley motifs and finished with delicate handmade fringe tassels. Accompanying the saree is a contrasting deep magenta-pink silk blouse piece decorated with delicate gold floral butis and a matching embroidered border, ensuring an unforgettable, regal look for weddings, festivals, and grand celebrations.
Fabric Details
  • Saree Fabric: Premium, ultra-soft Rajwadi Pashmina Silk Blend (highly breathable with a fluid, satin-like drape).
  • Blouse Fabric: Pure Art Silk / Brocade Silk with gold zari embroidery.
  • Ornamentation: Kashmiri Meenakari thread weaves, metallic zari borders, and decorative edge tassels.
  • Saree Length: Standard 5.5 meters.
  • Blouse Length: 0.80 meters (Unstitched fabric piece included).
  • Care & Maintenance Instructions

    1. Washing & Cleaning
    • Dry Clean Only: Never hand wash or machine wash this saree. The fine Pashmina silk fibers and delicate metallic threads can distort and lose their natural luster when exposed to water.

    2. Ironing
    • Low-Heat Steam: Use a low-to-medium heat setting on your iron.
    • Protective Barrier: Always place a clean cotton cloth over the saree or iron it on the reverse side to prevent scorching the delicate silk and metallic threads.

    3. Storage
    • Breathable Packaging: Wrap the saree in a clean muslin or soft cotton cloth. Avoid airtight plastic bags, which trap moisture and can yellow the fibers.
    • Avoid Hangers: Refrain from hanging the saree on metallic hangers for long periods, as this can cause the heavy weave to pull down, misshape, or tear the delicate silk.
    • Periodic Refolding: Take the saree out every few months, let it air out in a shaded area, and refold it along different lines to prevent permanent fabric creases or cracks.

When you wear one of our sarees, you’re not just draping fabric, you’re wearing a story. A piece of tradition, handcrafted with patience, skill, and artistry. Every saree you buy from us is one-of-a-kind, created in limited pieces, and made to become a cherished part of your life.
To make sure your saree stays as beautiful as the day you received it for years, or even generations, here's how to care for it with love and respect.
Caring for Your Silk Saree1.First WashAlways opt for dry cleaning for the first wash, to preserve its weave and finish.
2. Subsequent WashesIf dry cleaning isn’t an option later, wash the saree gently in cold water. Do not use detergent. Let it air dry naturally - no wringing, no twisting.
3. Always Dry in ShadeSilk is delicate. Avoid direct sunlight, which can fade its rich colors. Instead, let it dry in a shaded, airy spot.
4. No Washing Machines or DryersPlease never machine-wash or tumble dry your silk saree. These methods can severely damage its fabric and zari work.
5. Wash separatelyTo prevent colour transfer, wash the main body of the saree separately from the zari (border and pallu), as they may be dyed differently.

Storing Your Saree – A Gentle Ritual1. Use a Cotton Cloth BagWrap your saree in a soft, breathable cotton cloth or bag. Avoid plastic covers — silk loves to breathe.
2. Let It BreatheEvery few months, take your sarees out, unfold them, and let them enjoy the open air. It helps preserve their texture and keeps any musty smells away.
3. Keep Moisture AwayStore your sarees in a cool, dry place. Moisture can cause mold or mildew. Gently roll your saree onto saree rods and store it in the cupboard to help maintain its shape and preserve better.

Ironing Your Saree – Do It Right1. Use a Cotton BarrierWhen ironing, never place the hot iron directly on the silk. Instead, place a thin cotton cloth (preferably white) over the saree and press gently with medium heat.
2. No Direct HeatAvoid steam ironing directly on the silk or zari. It may leave watermarks or dullness.
